·Proclivity

Saria is the most respected Kokiri, by both the Kokiri themselves and their guardian, the Great Deku Tree. She is quite popular with her kind due to her kind and chipper nature, and Mido, the rudest Kokiri, even has a crush on her.

Saria is a uniquely kind-hearted individual. She is the type of person that won't stand aside when another is being treated unfairly. Although Link is considered an outcast by most of the Kokiri due to his not having a fairy like they do, Saria befriends him. When the Great Deku Tree is killed by Ganon's evil forces, Mido puts the blame on Link. Saria, knowing Link would never do such a thing, continues defend him despite popular belief.

Saria also has an uncommon disposition: although cheery and social, she spends a lot of her time separate from the other Kokiri. She enjoys being alone to reflect and communicate with the forest spirits while playing her ocarina, and is often found in her secret place, the Sacred Forest Meadow.

Although naive due to having been restricted to the Kokiri Forest, Saria is the wisest and most mature of the Kokiri. She understood the importance of Link leaving the Kokiri Forest, and didn't try to stop him, despite her personal feelings about the matter. Later, when she reawakens as a Sage, she tells Link that she has accepted they are from different worlds, and can't be together. Both examples show that although she may dislike or disagree with a situation, she's mature enough to recognize the reality and acknowledge it, unlike what a child would do.

Saria can also be uncertain, as she was when she was about to become a Sage. But, in the end, she is able to come to a decision and stick to it, no matter what it may entail.
